Super random. Jadi ada buku yang aku cuekin lama di deket tempat tidur gitu tadi sore aku pindahin karena mau ngamen kampus sehat, terus selesai ngamen aku iseng ngambil bukunya lagi, terus aku buka di random halaman. Dapetnya ini.
It shocked me a bit actually. That first word are very similar to my old Facebook profile for the longest time. I barely open it these past three years. Difference is, the poem is set on past tense. My old profile is on present tense.
Then, I was thinking. If it’s been quite a while since I’m updating my Facebook, does it mean it’s also in a past for me? Am I not an open book anymore just like in the poem? Was I an open book in a first place anyway?
Tapi ada satu lagi yang menurut aku beda, di puisi itu ada narasi tentang sesuatu yang tertulis, ada yang ditambahkan, ada yang berbekas. Sedangkan di kalimat Ma, tujuan penulisan itu cuma satu, I want people to read me, to know about me. There’s nothing about me writing about others or wanting to add others in my book. Self centered much, Ma?
Ah btw, happy 35th birthday Ma. This random post is so coincidentally match my birthday.
